     Mary Ann RAYNER was born in 1845 at Surrey.2,3 She was the daughter of John RAYNER.2 In the census of 2 April 1871 at Elim Street, Bermondsey, London, she was listed as a Chair Carrier aged 25 born in Surrey, the wife of John EURIDGE; a ?tractor of Colour, living with his wife Mary Ann, and children Mary Ann, John William, Louisa, and Henry.3 In 1873, At the time of their marriage, Mary and John lived at Saville Place, Lambeth, Surrey.2 Mary married John EURIDGE, son of William EURIDGE and Elizabeth DOUGHTY, on 2 June 1873 at St. Mary, Lambeth, London. By banns, in the presence of Thomas DAWSON and Edna? POWELL.4,2 Mary Ann RAYNER was the informant on the birth certificate of her daughter Catherine Lucy EURIDGE, who was born on 2 January 1876 at 48 Adam Street, Newington, London.5,6 Mary's death was registered in 1879 in the St. Olave registration district.7,8

     Mary Ann EURAGE's birth was registered in 1863 in the Newington registration district.3,4,5 She was the daughter of John EURIDGE and Mary Ann RAYNER.2 In the census of 2 April 1871 at Elim Street, Bermondsey, London, she was listed as aged 7 born in Newington, the daughter of John EURIDGE.6 Mary's death was registered in 1880 in the St. Saviour Southwark registration district.7

     John EURIDGE was born on 1 July 1841 in Southwark, London.3,4,5 He was the son of William EURIDGE and Elizabeth DOUGHTY.2,1,3 He was baptised on 15 March 1846 at St. George the Martyr, Southwark, London.3 In the census of 30 March 1851 at 5 Mint Street, St. George, Southwark, London, he was listed as aged 8 born in Bethnal Green, the son of William EURIDGE.6 In the census of 7 April 1861 at 12 Mint Street, St. George, Southwark, London, he was listed as a Shoemaker, aged 17 born in Bethnal Green, the son of William EURIDGE.7 John was listed as aged 39 born in Surrey, the Head of Household in the census of 2 April 1871 at Elim Street, Bermondsey, London, a ?tractor of Colour, living with his wife Mary Ann, and children Mary Ann, John William, Louisa, and Henry.5 John was Occupation: Colour Maker between 1873 and 1887.2,1,8 In 1873, At the time of their marriage, John and Mary lived at Saville Place, Lambeth, Surrey.2 John married Mary Ann RAYNER, daughter of John RAYNER, on 2 June 1873 at St. Mary, Lambeth, London, by banns, in the presence of Thomas DAWSON and Edna? POWELL.9,2 John was at the time of their daughter Catherine's birth, a Colourman.10
John married Jane Elizabeth TAYLOR, daughter of James TAYLOR, on 2 August 1880 at All Saints Church, Stoke Newington, London.1,11 As of 2 August 1880, John EURIDGE and Jane Elizabeth TAYLOR lived at 14 Beckway Street, Stoke Newington, London.12,1 John's death was registered in 1885 in the St. Saviour Southwark registration district.4

His son Arthur was staying with his uncle, and his wife Maria has not yet been located.13,14 In the census of 2 April 1871 at 6 Union Terrace, Newington, London, William was listed as aged 53 born in Eynsford Kent, the Head of Household; a Messenger, living with his wife Maria, and son Arthur.15 In the census of 3 April 1881 at 7 Warner Street, St. George, Southwark, London, William was listed as aged 63 born in Eynsford Kent, the Head of Household; a Messenger, living with his wife Maria, his son Arthur and his wife Jane A., and grandson William W. They had 3 rooms in the house, Annie & Henry Ward, a Brass Finisher had 2 rooms.16,14
In the census of 5 April 1891 at 7 Warner Street, Southwark, London, he was listed as a Retired Messenger aged 73 born in Eynsford Kent, the father of Arthur EURIDGE.5,14 Maria FLUDDER's estate was probated to William EURIDGE on 25 January 1900 in London, London.17,18 In the census of 31 March 1901 at Southwark, London, he was listed as living on his own means, aged 83 born in Eynsford Kent, the father of Arthur EURIDGE.19,14
At the time of his death, William EURIDGE lived at 7 Warner Street, New Kent Road, Southwark St. George, London and was a Commercial Clerk.17
William died on 25 December 1902 in Southwark, London, at the age of 85.17,20 The 1903 Will index shows: "William EURIDGE of 7 Warner Street, New Kent Road, Surrey Died 25 December 1902 Probate London 16 January to Arthur EURIDGE tax collector's clerk Effects £1,983 5s.17" His estate was probated on 16 January 1903 in London, London.17,18

Research Note: Lottie Alexander writes: "My ggrandfather and ggrandmother, Henry & Annie Ward lived with the Euridge family at 7 Warner Street in Southwark from 1881 until at least 1902 when Jane A. Euridge was named as being 'present at the death' of Henry (then aged 54 - Jane was a year older and by then her parents who had lived at 7 Warner Street has also died).21"

The marriage was witnessed by Sarah DUNFORD and Thomas Rebbill. Samson was 23 years old, and a labourer from Cloford, Annie was 20 years old and came from Wanstrow.1
