     Stephen BOYES was born on 3 April 1842 in Sarisbury, Hampshire.1
Stephen married Elizabeth (?). They had four children - Ernest Stephen (1870-1940), Arthur Harry (1871-), Horace Frank (1873-1955), and Constance Mary.1 Stephen was a Blacksmith.1
He was listed in the census of 3 April 1881 at Swanwick, Hampshire, a Blacksmith, living with his wife three sons Ernest, Harry and Frank, and daughter.1,2
Stephen died in 1907 in Fareham, Hampshire.1

     Elizabeth (?) was born in 1845 in Broughton, Kent.1
Elizabeth married Stephen BOYES. They had four children - Ernest Stephen (1870-1940), Arthur Harry (1871-), Horace Frank (1873-1955), and Constance Mary.1
In the census of 3 April 1881 at Swanwick, Hampshire, she was listed as the wife of an unknown person (a Blacksmith, living with his wife three sons Ernest, Harry and Frank, and daughter.)1,2 Elizabeth died between July 1914 and September 1914 at Fareham, Hampshire, aged 70.1

In 1838, Sophia lived at Warbleton, Sussex.1
Sophia married John JENNER in 1838.1 She was buried in 1887.1

     Her estate was probated; DOROTHY GILBERTA JENNER of 3 North Street, Lewes spinster died 16 Oct 1918 at Victoria hospital, Lewes.
Probate was granted to Frederick William Curtis, gentleman. £1553.
Dorothy Gilberta JENNER was baptised on 3 August 1884 at St John sub Castro, Lewes, Sussex.1 She was the daughter of Gilbert Amos JENNER and Mary HOLMES.1
Dorothy lived at 3 North Street, Lewes, Sussex.2 The 1918 Will index shows: "DOROTHY GILBERTA JENNER of 3 North Street, Lewes spinster died 16 Oct 1918 at Victoria hospital, Lewes.
Probate was granted to Frederick William Curtis, gentleman. £1553.2

Dorothy died on 16 October 1918 in Victoria Hospital, Lewes, Sussex, at the age of 34.2

     Mary married Gilbert Amos JENNER, son of John JENNER and Sophia SMITH, between October 1881 and December 1881 in Uckfield, Sussex.1
In 1920, Mary lived at 23 St. Swithens, Lewes, Sussex.2,3

     Mary Ann KIPPS was born in 1824 in Sevenoaks, Kent.1
Mary married John CARDEN in 1846 in the Westminster registration district.1,3,4
In the census of 3 April 1881 at 1 Lancelot Place, Westminster, London, she was listed as the wife of John CARDEN (a Furniture Packer, living with his wife, daughter and son. Also lodging with them was John MERRETT, Robert MARTIN and John T. MORRIS. John Merrett is assumed to be a relative of Henry Merritt who later married Harriet.)5
In the census of 5 April 1891 at 1a Lancelot Place, St. Margaret, Westminster, London, she was listed as the wife of John CARDEN (a Retired Packer, living with his wife, son and two grandchildren. His brother James CARDEN aged 60, also born in Tonbridge lived in 3 Lancelot Place.)6
Mary's death was registered in 1895 in the St. George Hanover Square registration district.2,3,7 Her estate was administered on 17 February 1895.3
