     Stephen ROWLANDS was born on 30 December 1959.1 He was the son of Vivian Rhys ROWLANDS and Constance Eileen REES.1 Stephen died in infancy in March 1960.1

     Annie Potter GRANT was born on 25 December 1854 in Longfleet, Dorset.1 Annie married Thomas Francis COLE, son of William COLE and Ellen SELLERS, on 29 April 1874.1 At the time of the birth of their son Sydney, Annie and Thomas lived 50 Newport Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight, and he was a Police Constable.2
In the census of 3 April 1881 at 50 Newport Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight, she was listed as the wife of Thomas F. COLE (a Police Constable, living with his wife, two sons and a daughter. Also living with them was a lodger Edward Carter, also a Police Constable from Langton Herring, Dorset.)3
In the census of 5 April 1891 at 9 Marlboro Road, Margate, Kent, she was listed as the daughter of Thomas F. COLE.4
Annie was in a photograph taken in between 1904 and 1910. She had a photograph taken with her daughter and two sons.5
Annie died on 25 August 1935 in Dorset at the age of 80.1 She was buried on 28 August 1935 at Poole Cemetery, Poole, Dorset.6

Mary married Harry Tremaine URIDGE, son of George Robert URIDGE and Julia Caroline TREMAINE, in 1895.1,5
In the census of 1 June 1900 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA, she was listed as aged 25 born in New York State, married 5 years wth 2 children both living, the wife of Harry T. URIDGE (a Bookeeper, living with his wife Mary, and their children Owen, and Jane. Also listed was a Housekeeper.)5
Mary was in a photograph taken in September 1903. The Fawcett family are on the left and the Uridge family on the right.3,6

Her husband, Harry, died on 14 June 1953 in Hotel Gallia, 63 Rue Pierre Charron, Paris, France; He was found dead in his hotel room. At the time, he was travelling with his grandson and granddaughter, Mr & Mrs Frederick A. SCHAEFER, Jr.10

Research Note: Mary had quite a list of ancestors (actors and comedians that Owen has going back to King George III).1

In the census of 15 April 1910 at Bay City, Bay County, Michigan, USA, she was listed as aged 6 born in Michigan, the daughter of Harry T. URIDGE.3
In the census of 1 January 1920 at Putnam Avenue, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA, she was listed as aged 15 born in Michigan, the daughter of Harry T. URIDGE.5

Ruth married Theron H. GOODSPEED on 7 October 1929 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA. She was aged 25 born and residing in Detroit Michigan. Her parents were listed as Harry T. URIDGE and Mary FAWCETT. The marriage was witnessed by Frank W. SHEKETEE?, and Eleanor E. SAUER.6,4

GOODSPEED (He was a President, living with his wife Ruth W., and their daughter Mary Jane. Also listed with his widowed father-in-law Harry T. URIDGE, and a Servant.)7
Her husband, Theron, died on 29 June 1948 in San Diego, San Diego County, California, USA.8
Ruth died on 29 December 1951 in Holland, Ottawa County, Michigan, USA, at the age of 47.9,1 She was buried on 31 December 1951 at Graceland Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, USA.9,10
Her death was reported in the Ludington Daily News, Ludington, Mason County, Michigan, USA, on 2 January 1952.1 It read:
MRS RUTH GOODSPEED GRAND RAPIDS
Mrs Ruth Goodspeed. widow of Theron H. Goodspeed Jr., local hotelman and banker, is dead. She was stricken while attending a dinner party in Holland Saturday night and died a short time later. Mrs. Goodspeed, the former Ruth Ethel Uridge of Detroit, was 47.1

Her obituary was detailed in a local newspaper.10 It read:
Funeral services for Mrs. Theron H. Goodspeed, jr., 47, Grand Rapids clubwoman who died unexpectedly Saturday night after suffering a heart attack at a dinner party in Holland, were held Monday afternoon at the Metcalf chapel. Very Rev. William T. Reeves, dean of St. Mark's cathedral, officiated. Entombment was in Graceland mausoleum.
Mrs. Goodspeed, the former Ruth Ethel Uridge of Detroit, was the widow of Theron H. Goodspeed, jr., former vice president of Pantlind Hotel corporation and director of Citizens Industrial bank and Kent County Storage Co., who died in June, 1948, also of a heart attack. They were married in 1929.
Mrs. Goodspeed motored to Holland with friends Saturday afternoon. Apparently in excellent health when stricken, she died minutes after rising from the dinner table at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. William Lowry.
Born in Detroit March 7, 1904, Mrs. Goodspeed was a graduate of San Diego college and University of Michigan. She was a member of the Peninsular club, Kent Country club, Junior League, Blodgett Hospital Center board, the Cathedral league of St. Mark's church and Women's City club.10

Details of her Estate were published in the Grand Rapids Press, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, USA, on 22 May 1952.11 It read:
Mrs. Goodspeed's Estate $368,847
Mrs. Ruth U. Goodspeed, widow of Theron H. Godspeed, jr., former vice president of the Pantlind hotel corporation and a director of Citizen's Industrial bank and Kent Storage Co., left an estate valued at $368,847.86, according to an inventory filed Wednesday afternoon in probate court.
Mrs. Goodspeed, who died of a heart attack Dec. 28, 1951, while attending a dinner in Holland, lived at 505 College av..
Principal items of the estate are S196,769 in stocks and bonds; the family home valued at $25,000; miscellaneous $74,231, and $68,596 in cash in Grand Rapids banks. Also listed in the estate is a 33 per cent interest on California holdings in her husband's estate, amounting to $66,163.
Harry T. Uridge of Grand Rapids, father of Mrs. Goodspeed, is to receive $300 a month as long as he lives, and the remaining income from property was left to Mrs. Marijane G. Schaefer of Hinsdale, Ill., a daughter, in installments.
Executor of the will is Attorney Siegel W. Judd.11

Research Note: Philip wrote,
"Mrs Owen Uridge Jr. indicated to Phil Dorland 5/5/2015 that Harry Uridge had lost four (4) daughters in 1918 to a flu epidemic and that Owen Jr. was the only survivor? I have not found any records that would verify this. I have records on three daughters (Jane, Mary & Ruth) one of which (Ruth E. Uridge married Theodore Goodspeed) who had a daughter [Mary Jane (Goodspeed) Schaffer]. My parents visited her and her three children when I was a child likely in the early 1960s."12
