Edith married Fred LEIGH, son of Thomas LEIGH and Louisa EURIDGE, on 5 August 1907 in St. Martin's Church, Eynsford, Kent. She was a Spinster aged 22 residing in Church Cottages, Eynsford. Her father was listed as John William King, a Blacksmith. The marriage was witnessed by Mabel Beatrice KING (Bride's Sister), George LEIGH (Groom's Brother), and Emily FARROW (Groom's Sister.)1,4

     James WELLARD was born on 7 January 1850 in Eynsford, Kent.1,2 He was the son of Thomas WELLARD and Elizabeth EURIDGE.1 He was baptised on 24 February 1850 at St. Martin's Church, Eynsford, Kent.2
In the census of 30 March 1851 at Eynsford Street, Eynsford, Kent, he was listed as aged 1 born in Eynsford, the son of Thomas WELLARD.3
In the census of 7 April 1861 at Eynsford Street, Eynsford, Kent, he was listed as an Agricultural Labourer, aged 12 born in Eynsford, the son of Elizabeth EURIDGE.4

In the census of 2 April 1911 at Fern Bank, Eynsford, Kent, James was listed as the Head of Household; a Fitter & Engineer, living with his wife Amelia, together with their son-in-law William DAY, and their daughter Elizabeth DAY, and grandson 'Ronald' DAY. Also listed was a Boarder Dixon STINGER.8
His wife, Amelia, died in December 1912 in the Strand registration district.9,10
James died in April 1917 in Eynsford, Kent, at the age of 67.11,12 James was buried on 21 April 1917 at St. Martin's Church, Eynsford, Kent, at the age of 67.12

Research Note: In the 1911 census, Amelia states she had been married 38 years (i.e. 1873). However although extensively researched no marriage was found in that time period.
However, a marriage in 1902 was found. This needs to be verified.13,8

     Henry WELLARD was born in 1855 in Eynsford, Kent. He was the twin brother of John.1,2,3 He was the son of Thomas WELLARD and Elizabeth EURIDGE.4 He was baptised on 11 February 1855 at St. Martin's Church, Eynsford, Kent.5
In the census of 7 April 1861 at Eynsford Street, Eynsford, Kent, he was listed as aged 6 born in Eynsford, the son of Elizabeth EURIDGE.3
