In the census of 31 March 1901 at 39 Porthcawe Road, Lewisham, London, James was listed as the Head of Household; a Cabman, living with his wife, and grandson Harold SMITH. Also staying with them was a visitor, Emily POTTER a widow, and her children Ellen and Wallis POTTER.5

By licence, in the presence of George HILL, Kate Adele URIDGE, Rosetta HILL, and William URIDGE.3,4 Edward was a Farmer in 1882 at St. Leonards on Sea, Sussex.5

     Mary Ann GRAHAM was born in 1861 in St Neots, Huntingdonshire. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Graham (née Cole). She was part of a large Graham Family (at least 12 siblings) living in Hitchin Hertfordshire.2,1,3,4,5,6,7
Mary married William Gurney URIDGE, son of William URIDGE and Sarah GURNEY, on 7 May 1882 at Saint Luke, Old Street, London. She was a Spinster aged 21, residing at 66 Chiswell Street. Her father was listed as John Graham, a Parchment Maker. The marriage was witnessed by William Uridge [William's father], and ? Coly?8,9,1,10
In the census of 5 April 1891 at Chiswell Street, St. Lukes, London, she was listed as aged 29 born in St. Neots Huntingdonshire, the daughter-in-law of William URIDGE. Also listed was her husband William G., and young sons William H., John, and Charles E.11
In the census of 31 March 1901 at Chiswell Street, St. Lukes, London, she was listed as aged 40 born in St. Neots Huntingdonshire, the wife of William G. URIDGE; an Auctioneers Clerk, living with his wife Mary A., and children William H., John, Charles E., and Frank. Also listed at the same address, but as a separate household was his brother Walter.12
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 10 Parolles Road, Upper Holloway, Islington, London, Mary was listed as aged 50 born in St. Neots Huntingdonshire, the Head of Household; a Widow, living with her two adult sons John, and Charles Edgar.13 Prior to her death in 1934, Mary lived at 2 Ickleford Road, Hitchin, Hertfordshire.14 Mary died on 17 September 1934 in Hitchin Hospital, Hitchin, Hertfordshire.2,14,1,4 Her estate was probated on 13 November 1934 to her eldest son William Henry URIDGE.14

Research Note: Mally wrote: "In 1881 Mary Ann was working as a barmaid at a pub that occupied numbers 65 and 66 Chiswell St, St. Lukes London, (now demolished) the landlady being her aunt Mary A Panton. Also working there were Mary Ann's Brother Henry (Harry) Graham and sister Elizabeth Graham.5"

In the census of 5 April 1891 at Italian Villa, Lindfield, Sussex, Arthur was listed as the Head of Household; a Postman, living with his wife and young daughter. They also had a boarder, Alice BLADES, an Elementary School Teacher.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 at School House, Lindfield, Sussex, he was listed as the brother of Frances KIMBER.5

Mary married Henry URIDGE, son of William URIDGE and Sarah WALDER, in 1884 in the Cuckfield registration district.3,4
In the census of 31 March 1901 at 4 Crescent Place, Keymer Urban, Burgess Hill, Sussex, she was listed as aged 42 born in Burgess Hill, the wife of Henry URIDGE (a Drapers Manager, living with his wife Mary J., and children William A., Walter E., and Lilian M.)5
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 4 Station Road Villas, Station Road, Burgess Hill, Sussex, she was listed as aged 52 born in Keymer, married 26 years with four children, 3 living and one dead, the wife of Henry URIDGE (a Drapery Manager living with his wife Mary Jane, and son William Arthur, and daughter Lillian May. Also listed was his daughter-in-law Ethel Nellie (Walter's wife), and grand-daughters Gwendoline, and Kathleen.)4 Mary and Henry continued to live at 4 Station Road Villas, Station Road, Burgess Hill, Sussex, until their deaths.6,7
Mary died in 13 March 1918 in the Cuckfield registration district.8,6
Her estate was probated to her husband Henry URIDGE on 13 May 1918 in London.6

Annie Elizabeth GODLEY was born in 1862 in Burgess Hill, Sussex.2 She was the daughter of James GODLEY.3,4 In the census of 3 April 1881 she was listed as aged 19, born in Clayton, Sussex a barmaid the daughter of James GODLEY; a Licensed Victualler, married aged 40, living with his six sons and two daughters.3
Annie married Henry James URIDGE, son of James URIDGE and Adele Victorine GIBBINS, in 1885 in the Cuckfield registration district.5
In the census of 5 April 1891 at Cottage, Little Ote Hall, Wivelsfield, Sussex, she was listed as the wife of Henry James URIDGE (a Farmer, living with his wife and infant son. Also living with them was two brothers Albert & George GODLEY (his wife's brothers), and a Domestic Servant Grace FARMER.)6

     James MARTIN was born in 1860 in Fletching, Sussex.1 He was the son of William MARTIN and Jane FLEET.1,2 In the census of 3 April 1881 at Wapsbourne, Chailey, Sussex, he was listed as a Farmer's son, the son of William MARTIN.1
James married Rose Pauline URIDGE, daughter of James URIDGE and Adele Victorine GIBBINS, in 1886 in Lewes, Sussex.3
James died in 1890 in the Lewes registration district.4,5 Brother and sister, James and Mary Jane MARTIN, married brother and sister James Isidore and Rose Pauline URIDGE.6 He was mentioned in Mary Jane URIDGE's will made on 8 August 1929.2

Mary Jane MARTIN was baptised on 17 February 1861 at Buxted, Sussex.1
Mary lived at Danehill, Sussex.1 In the census of 3 April 1881 at Wapsbourne, Chailey, Sussex, she was listed as a Dressmaker, the daughter of William MARTIN.3
Mary married James Isidore URIDGE, son of James URIDGE and Adele Victorine GIBBINS, in 1890 in Lewes, Sussex.4 Brother and sister, Mary and James MARTIN, married brother and sister James Isidore and Rose Pauline URIDGE.5
In the census of 5 April 1891 at Ashley Cottages, Cheriton, Kent, she was listed as the wife of James Isidore URIDGE; a Miller, living with his wife.6 Mary was in a photograph taken circa 1900 at Ashley Mill, Cheriton, Kent.7
In the census of 31 March 1901 at "Downside", Kings Henry's Road, St. Johns, Lewes, Sussex, she was listed as the wife of James Isidore URIDGE (a retired Farmer and Corndealer, living with his wife, two sons and his niece and two servants.)8
Her son Edgar John Gibbins URIDGE's estate was probated to her on 7 November 1917 at Lewes, Sussex. At that time her husband, Edgar's father, was serving in Salonika.9,10 She was appointed as an Executor of her husband, James Isidore URIDGE's will made on 19 October 1920; He probably made the will just before he visited relatives in California.9,11
Her husband, James, died on 13 July 1925 in Lewes, Sussex.12
James Isidore URIDGE's estate was probated to Mary Jane MARTIN on 10 August 1925 in Lewes, Sussex.9

Three codicils were added on 8 August 1929, 25 June 1930, 22 January 1931 and 23 August 1932. The will was probated on 13 August 1934.13
On 25 June 1930, Mary lived at Nursing Home, 31 Ventnor Villas, Hove, Sussex.13
Mary died on 12 June 1934 in Steyning, Sussex.14,11
Her estate was probated to Frank MARTIN and John MARTIN on 13 August 1934 in Lewes, Sussex.13,15
