Her father was listed as Thomas White Hillier deceased, a Farm Labourer. The marriage was witnessed by Sarah DUNFORD and Thomas REBBILL (RABBITTS) - Groom's step-brother.1,5

On 12 March 1881, at the time of the birth registration of their son, Herbert VEASEY, Annie and Sampson lived at Upton Noble, Somerset.6
In the census of 3 April 1881 at High Street, Upton Noble, Somerset, she was listed as aged 28 born Wanstrow, the wife of Sampson VEASY (a General Labourer, living with his wife Annie, and their children Arthur, Leonora, and Herbert.)2
In the census of 5 April 1891 at Wanstrow Hill Farm, Wanstrow, Somerset, Annie was listed as aged 38 born in Wanstrow, the wife of Sampson VEASEY; a Woodman, living with his wife Ann, and their children Arthur, Leonora, Herbert, and Gilbert.7

Her husband, Samson, died on 30 May 1914 in Upton Noble, Somerset, at the age of 65.13,12
Ann died on 22 April 1926 in Upton Noble, Somerset.14,15

Research Note: Another HILIER family, was also found in the 1881 census for Wanstrow, Somerset. Hannah HILIER, b1828 with her son Thomas (b1861) and daughter Ellen (c.1867). All were born in Wanstrow, Somerset.16

Research Note: In 2003, I purchased the birth certificate of Ann HILLIER from Clutton - at that time only one was noted. It was the wrong person.17

Research Note: There were two Ann HILLIERs born in 1852-1854 in the Frome registration district. One later died in 1854/Q1 age 1.
Searching the parish baptism records, it was identified that the Ann born with mother's maiden name of WILCOX, was the daughter of George & Caroline HILLIAR.
The birth certificate for Ann born with mother's maiden name of ELLIOTT was purchased, and received on 30 October 2019. However it was not my ancestor.18,19,20,21,22,23
