     William DEANE was baptised on 3 March 1666/67 at Fawkham, Kent, His parents were Michael and Mary Deane.2
William married Sarah EURIDGE, daughter of Richard URIDGE, on 24 November 1698 in Hunton, Kent.1,3 They were, or became, "Dissenters" attending meetings at Bydews House, Tovil.

They lived at Ridley Court, a Georgian house built by William's father Michael, in 1697. Ridley Court and farm is next to Ridley Church. They had at least 8 children who, because they were strict non-conformists, were all baptised privately in their own home in Ridley - Michael c1699; Thomas c1702; William c1704-1727; Isaac c1703-1709; Richard c1704-1704; Richard c1705-1707; Isaac 1709; and Abia.4,5 He was buried in 1734 at The Dissenters Burial Ground, Tovil, Kent.6
