In the census of 6 June 1841 at Rysele? Place, Sydenham, Kent, she was listed as aged 80 not born in the County, assumed to be the mother of John URIDGE.1
Ann's death was registered in August 1848 in the Lewisham registration district.6 She was buried on 23 August 1848 at Sydenham, Kent.7,8

Walter URIDGE was baptised on 26 December 1856 at Sydenham, Kent.6 In the census of 7 April 1861 at Russell Street, Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as aged 5 born in Sydenham, the son of Richard URIDGE.3 In the census of 2 April 1871 at 20 Fir Street, Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as aged 14 born in Sydenham, the brother of John URIDGE.5,7
Walter married Louisa Jane WOODS in 1880 in the Lambeth registration district.8,4,9
In 1881, Walter lived at 19 Prospect Road, Sydenham, Kent.10 In the census of 3 April 1881 at 25 Rowland Grove Wells Road, Lewisham, London, Walter was listed as aged 24 born in Sydenham, the Head of Household; a Gardener, living with his wife Louisa, and daughter Minnie L.11 He was a Railway Porter in 1882 at Sydenham, Kent.10
In 1886, Walter lived at 21 Prospect Road, Sydenham, Kent; this house was bequeathed to him in his uncle William's will.10,12 He was a Messenger in 1886 at Sydenham, Kent.10
He was named as a beneficiary in William URIDGE's will made on 20 June 1888.13 Walter was listed as aged 34 born in Sydenham, the Head of Household in the census of 5 April 1891 at 77 Graylands Road, Camberwell, London, a Stationer's Assistant, living with his wife Louisa J., and children Walter, Richard J., Minnie L., Emily S. Also living with them was a nurse child Charlotte J. JEAL? age 8 born in Peckham.14 Walter was listed as aged 44 born Sydenham, the Head of Household in the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, a Jobbing Gardener, living with his wife Louisa J., and children Minnie L., Emily S., Walter H., Richard J., Elizabeth M.J., Harry Vernor, and Frank. Also living with them was a boarder Walter H. SEAMOND Boarder aged 23 born in St. Pancras.15

In a document dated c1905, he is referred to as "took 19 Prospect Road and does not share in this estate.16"
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 36 Achilles Road, West Hampstead, London, Walter was listed as aged 54 born in Sydenham, the Head of Household; a Bath-Chair Proprietor, living with his wife Louisa Jane, and children Richard J., Elizabeth, Henry Vernor, and Frank. Also listed was "Bertir Reynolds", a Carpenter aged 21 born in Sidney [Sydney] Australia.17 In the census of 2 April 1911 he was at the same address as his son-in-law John George NORTHFIELD, but enumerated as a different household.18,19 At the time of the death of his son, Harry Vernor in 1916 he lived at 36 Achilles Road, West Hampstead, London; The building was in fact a grocery shop.20,21
Walter's death was registered in 1929 in the Hampstead registration district.22,4

     Frank URIDGE was born in 1859 in Sydenham, Kent.2,3,4 He was the son of Richard URIDGE and Sarah Louisa HALL.1 In the census of 7 April 1861 at Russell Street, Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as aged 2 born in Sydenham, the son of Richard URIDGE.1
Frank URIDGE was baptised on 14 September 1864 at Sydenham, Kent.3 In the census of 2 April 1871 at 20 Fir Street, Sydenham, Kent, he was listed as aged 11 born in Sydenham, the brother of John URIDGE.5,6 Frank was listed as a Gunner in the census of 3 April 1881 at Vessel "Lord Warden", Queensferry, Fife.7
Frank's death was registered in 1920 in the Barnet registration district.8,4

Research Note: His uncle William URIDGE (1815-1890) did not mention him in his will, although most of William's known living nephew and neices were. Perhaps there was a upset in the family prior to 1880, and Frank had ran away and joined the Navy.9,10

Louisa married Walter URIDGE, son of Richard URIDGE and Sarah Louisa HALL, in 1880 in the Lambeth registration district.6,4,7 In the census of 3 April 1881 at 25 Rowland Grove Wells Road, Lewisham, London, she was listed as aged 24 born in Southwark, the wife of Walter URIDGE; a Gardener, living with his wife Louisa, and daughter Minnie L.8
She was named as a beneficiary in William URIDGE's will made on 20 June 1888.9 In the census of 5 April 1891 at 77 Graylands Road, Camberwell, London, she was listed as a Laundress aged 34 born in Southwark, the wife of Walter URIDGE; a Stationer's Assistant, living with his wife Louisa J., and children Walter, Richard J., Minnie L., Emily S. Also living with them was a nurse child Charlotte J. JEAL? age 8 born in Peckham.5 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, she was listed as a Tea Grocer, working on her on account from home aged 44 born Sydenham, the wife of Walter URIDGE; a Jobbing Gardener, living with his wife Louisa J., and children Minnie L., Emily S., Walter H., Richard J., Elizabeth M.J., Harry Vernor, and Frank. Also living with them was a boarder Walter H. SEAMOND Boarder aged 23 born in St. Pancras.10 In the census of 2 April 1911 at 36 Achilles Road, West Hampstead, London, she was listed as aged 54 born in Lambeth, the wife of Walter URIDGE; a Bath-Chair Proprietor, living with his wife Louisa Jane, and children Richard J., Elizabeth, Henry Vernor, and Frank. Also listed was "Bertir Reynolds", a Carpenter aged 21 born in Sidney [Sydney] Australia.11
Louisa died in 1934 in Hampstead, London.12,4

Minnie Louisa URIDGE was baptised on 7 December 1881 at Sydenham, Kent.6 In the census of 5 April 1891 at 77 Graylands Road, Camberwell, London, she was listed as aged 10 born in Sydenham, the daughter of Walter URIDGE.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 at 50 Southampton Road, St. Pancras, London, she was listed as aged 20 born in Sydenham, the daughter of Walter URIDGE. She was a Biscuit Packer living at home with her parents and siblings.7
Minnie married John George NORTHFIELD on 5 August 1907 in Hampstead, London.8,2,9,10
In the census of 2 April 1911 at 36 Achilles Road, West Hampstead, London, she was listed as the wife of John George NORTHFIELD (a Cakemaker, living with his wife Minnie L., and children Walter J. H., "Sydney T"., and Elizabeth L.)9,5
At the time of the birth of their daughter Constance in 1915, Minnie and John lived at Broomsleigh Street, Hampstead, London.11

Joseph married Matilda URIDGE, daughter of Richard URIDGE and Matilda Paris BETTS, on 25 December 1849 at The Parish Church, Islington, London. The marriage was witnessed by Edmund and Eliza TRENDLE.5,6,1
In the census of 7 April 1861 at 1a Anglers Gardens, Islington, London, Joseph was listed as the Head of Household; a Chairmaker, living with his wife Matilda, and children Matilda, Joseph, and George.7
In the census of 2 April 1871 at 28 Wall Street, Islington, London, Joseph was listed as the Head of Household; a Chairmaker, aged 43, living with his wife, three sons and two daughters.8
In the census of 3 April 1881 at 60 Church Road, Tottenham, Middlesex, Joseph was listed as the Head of Household; a Grocer & Chairmaker, living with his wife and two daughters.9,10
In the census of 5 April 1891 at 2 Elsden Road, Tottenham, Middlesex, Joseph was listed as the Head of Household; a Cabinet Maker, aged 63, living with his wife, and two daughters.11
In the census of 31 March 1901 at 2 Elsden Road, Tottenham, Middlesex, Joseph was listed as the Head of Household; a Cabinet Maker, widowed aged 73, living alone.12
Joseph died in 1907 in the Edmonton registration district.13

Research Note: Simon wrote "I have an Edward Trendle born c.1799 in Buckinghamshire whose son Thomas (1830-1892), brother of Joseph, was an ornamental wood carver. So my present assumption is that they come from the Chiltern furniture makers."14,15
